More than a dozen DJs were set to spin a soundtrack of Goth, industrial, deathrock, darkwave and synth pop tunes on the Full Throttle Stage and in the Metro Park Pub. The planned line-up of live bands playing the Golden Bear Theater made famous by the “Spinal Tap” mockumentary film included London After Midnight (dark rock), Glass Spells (synth pop), Assemblage 23 (industrial electronic) and Male Tears (electro pop). Tickets were only available through the Six Flags Magic Mountain website. Attending a live concert during the event would have cost an additional $60. I, of course, wish that they would add more roller coasters, but given the layout of the park, I do not see that happening.The $130 tickets would have included access to Magic Mountain rides and three Fright Fest haunted mazes as well as food, drinks, DJ music and parking. Overall, compared to the admission fee, the place is worth the money, and I do recommend it. I would rather have them included as part of an experience. I would not expect to pay for something as basic as a haunted house or mirror maze at any park. Another issue was of nickel and diming at a few places. I wish they would add some roller coasters instead. Therefore, after a few of those, even persons with most robust body systems are bound to experience nausea. They are fun, mind you, but the whole park is packed with those rides. But they are all based on circular, oscillatory and rotational movements combined with height. There are plenty of so-called thrill rides. Other than that, the huge roller coasters are missing. It has one small one which doubles up as a water splash ride. First, the park lacks even a single proper roller coaster. Now the negatives - I can see only two major ones that I can think of. The emphasis on safety can also be seen, with the staff extremely safety conscious and wouldn’t start a ride till all belts and buckles were double-checked. We were there on a Sunday and average wait time for any ride was less than 10 minutes. There are adequate restaurants and places to sit and washrooms are cleaned and well maintained. There are enough rides for the kids as well as adults. First, the positives - the park is well laid out, has ample rides and attractions, even if it is smaller than many parks. We visited there and a group earlier this month. This park is situated just outside Lonavla.

Clean place and very helpful staff ! Must visit ! We had a decent buffet lunch at one of their 5 multi cuisine restaurants and soaked in the beautiful views of the fountains in front of the mountains! They have extremely high safety standards and the 31 + rides are kid friendly, mid thrill and high thrill ! Even rides for toddlers !! Just a couple of hours from Mumbai so can be a great weekend or if you want, weekday escape ! Affordable fun ! We had a great time exploring all the rides ! I was happy with the 5 D experience and the dashing cars and so on ! Other must try are the Z force, Disco, Giant Frisbee and the Vertical Swings ! A few days ago we made a trip down to Lonavla to spend a day at Magic Mountain Amusement Park ! This is nestled between the mountains in Lonavla on the way to Pune ! So Punekars and Mumbaikars a great spot for your entertainment!
